Cookies & browser storage
Necessary storage. Clear controls.
Reachuals uses a sign-in cookie and browser storage for requested interface choices. The audited application has no advertising or analytics tracking integration. Our storage notice is information about those features, not permission to start optional tracking.

What is stored in your browser
| Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
reachuals_session | Necessary authentication cookie, set after successful sign-in. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure on the production HTTPS site. | Eight hours, or until sign-out/expiry. |
Legacy motion preferencescoutbee-motion-v1 | Older versions stored a pause/resume choice. The current version does not read or write it. Motion runs automatically and respects system reduced motion. | A legacy value may remain until you clear this site's storage. |
| Interface preference keys | Requested appearance, sidebar layout, view/folding choices and local shortlist/working state. These are browser-local features rather than advertising profiles. | Until changed, reset by the relevant feature, or cleared in the browser. |
scoutbee-storage-notice-v1 | Remembers that you dismissed this version of the necessary-storage notice. | Until the notice version changes or this site's storage is cleared. |
Preference/working-state keys are localStorage, not cookies sent with every request. They can include interface choices or locally saved working selections; they should not be treated as a substitute for the server's campaign records. We do not display or copy your cookie value in the settings panel.
Your controls
- Open Cookie settings in any public footer to read the storage notice. Dismissing the notice does not consent to optional tracking.
- Use your browser's site-data controls to block or clear this site's cookies/localStorage. Blocking the necessary sign-in cookie prevents a persistent signed-in session. Clearing local working state can remove browser-only selections.
- Sign out to end the authentication session. Display preferences do not change your account, campaign or waitlist records.
- A global privacy-control signal is not treated as permission for tracking. There is currently no optional advertising/analytics integration to activate or opt out of in the audited Reachuals application.
Before optional tracking is introduced
Any optional analytics or advertising integration must have a purpose-specific control and be blocked until the consent required by applicable law has been obtained. Optional choices must start off, be easy to reject, and be as easy to withdraw as to give. Continuing to browse or scroll does not give that consent.
An external site opened from a link, including a payment or social platform, operates its own cookies and policy. That does not permit Reachuals to load its optional trackers without the appropriate choice.
